About Me

Art is my third career, my first training being as a speech and language therapist followed by further training to become a psychotherapist.

In 2014 I moved to the edge of a village in rural East Northamptonshire, where I enjoy wide views over woods and fields with glorious skies and sunsets. In response to living with the constant stimulus of being in this place, I started to paint. Painting provides the perfect way to channel the energy produced by my awe of the landscape combined with my passion for colour.

Soon after completing a Diploma in Oil Painting with Martin Kinnear at Norfolk Painting School in 2019 I discovered the joy of oils and cold wax. I found that the richness of this medium together with the range of methods of application fitted well with my expressive style.
